JERSEY BUDD smashed onto the British music scene with his first album “Wonderlands”, which included the single “She Came Back” featuring Tom Meighan from Kasabian and received huge radio airplay. Q Magazine called this album “a rollicking bar room rock in thrall to Tom Petty and Bruce Springsteen”.
Leicester born Jersey is a friend and contemporary of many acclaimed British artists such as Kasabian, Miles Kane and The Rifles. Jersey and his band have toured extensively across the UK and Europe headlining his own shows and supporting artists including Kasabian, The Enemy, James Morrison, John Martyn, Amy MacDonald, The Bluetones and Turin Brakes.
Jersey has co-written with artists James Walsh from Starsailor, Rob Harvey from The Music, Paul Garred of The Kooks and James Barnett. He has worked alongside producers including Stan Klybert, Brendan Lynch and Jamie Ellis.
Jersey’s sound mixes true rock and roll with vintage soul with influences stretching far and wide and is setting he music scene alight making Jersey one of the British songwriters to watch.
Having released the “Heartbreaker”, “Down To The Wire” and ”Time Stands Still” EPs, Jersey is back in the studio putting the final touches to his eagerly awaited new album The Gathering Dust which will be released in February 2017.
